General Rules:-
1. School begins with the morning Assembly and students must be on time for the Assembly. It is advisable that students reach school at least ten minutes before the scheduled time.
2. To be eligible for promotion, a student must have a minimum of 95% attendance.
3. After an absence from school the reason for the absence must be entered briefly in the Regularity Record under “Absent” in the school calendar.
4. If an unauthorized absence from school exceeds 15 calendar days, the student’s name may be struck off the rolls, and he may not be readmitted to school.
5. An absence due to illness for two or more days, besides being entered in the Regularity Record under “Absent” must be accompanied by a Doctor’s prescription.
6. A leave granted must be recorded in the Regularity Record under “Leave” in the school calendar.
7. Early Departure: It is availed when there in an emergency at home or when a student gets sick in school. It is not granted to those who come sick from home.
8. In case a child falls sick/meets with an accident in the school premises hhe can be helped with immediate first aid only. The parents will be informed and are expected to come and attend to their son/ward immediately. It is important to give the correct contact numbers in the diary and update it whenever there is a change.
9. Late arrival to school is a breach of discipline. A student who comes late to school must enter the date and time of arrival in the Regularity Record under “Late”.
10. It is mandatory for a student to attend the school on days marked “compulsory attendance”.
School Uniform
Every student must wear a clean, complete and correct uniform daily. Uniform is compulsory for all school activities, both curricular & co-curricular.
Hair must be short and neatly combed, clothes must be clean ironed, and shoes must be polished. Mushroom hair cut colouring of hair are not permitted. Students are forbidden to wear expensive sports or leather shoes or any other than the ones prescribed by the school.
Guidelines for Parents/ Guardians
Parents POSITIVE COOPERATION with the school is absolutely essential for the constructive upbringing of their son/daughter.
- By urging their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance.
- By checking the School Calendar of a regular basis.
- By seeing that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
- By insisting on neatness and cleanliness in their books and personal appearance.
- By occasionally meeting the Principal/Teachers to discuss the progress of their wards.
- Periodical reports, and the Report Card will keep parents/guardians informed of the progress of their wards.
- Ordinarily communication with parents/guardians is made through the Voice mail, SMS & School Calendar.
- Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see their wards or to meet teachers during class hours without the special permission from the Principal.
- Parents can meet teachers on every Friday at 3.30 pm.
Payment of Fees
1. The School fees cover Ten calendar months and may be paid in three installments or in advance. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods.
Students are liable to be charged full fees as long as their names are officially on the rolls. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
2. All dues must be paid before the school year ends.
3. The school reserves the right to increase the fees at any time of the year if an increment is considered necessary.
Transportation
1. CHANGE OF THE SCHOOL BUS: – Students must inform the school office about the change of their bus. No change will be effective unless sanctioned by the school office.
2. FOR DISCONTINUATION OF THE SCHOOL BUS: – Inform the school office regarding the mode of transport to be used after the discontinuation of the school bus in the prescribed form. Bus fee will be charged till the office is informed of the matter.
3. Students should listen to the instructions given by the Teachers/Prefects/monitors.
4. Boarding or getting off from a running bus is strictly prohibited.
5. Students should not travel on the foot board.
6. Creating noise and causing confusion in the bus is not permitted. Students are forbidden to throw anything out of the bus, as this will distract the driver and may result in an accident.
7. Any students found using foul language or caught fighting in the bus shall be suspended from using the school transport.
8. Any complaint regarding the transport should be brought to the notice of the School office.
9. Parents are requested not to influence the staff of the bus, for creating any new stop or for changing the route.
10. The school gate will close at 9.30 am in the morning, and evening at 5 pm.
11. Students who reach late should meet the Principal.
